VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CATS:
»RABIES
»FVRCP iFeline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
***BORDETELLA IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CATS NOR DO WE ALLOW CATS THAT HAVE HAD THE BORDETELLA VACCINE LESS THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CHECK-IN!***
All vaccinations must have been administered from 7 days to 1 year PRIOR to arrival at our facility! Documentation is required.
»Flea/Tick Preventative within 3 months.
»De-wormer
(or a recent negative fecal exam) within 3 months.
Documentation is required.
ALL CATS THAT ARE ALLOWED OUTSIDE MUST HAVE:
»Current FeLV vaccination or a recent titer showing immunity.
»Current FIV vaccination or has tested negative for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Must have been done within the last year and must be documented.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CATS:
MINIMUM AGE: 8-16 weeks.
Must have had de-wormer and first set of distemper vaccines one week prior to arrival. Documentation is required.
ALL CATS OVER 8 MONTHS OLD MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED.
EXCEPTIONS: Some older cats and/or immunosuppressed kittens/cats may not be candidates for the recommended vaccinations and/or treatments. In general, we will accept your veterinarian's written recommendations.

Disclaimer: $15/Calendar Day for each additional family cat
~Please note that our boarding fees are based on the calendar day including the day of arrival and the day of departure.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL CHECK-OUTS ARE DONE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Starting on January 1, 2018, we will no longer be scheduling check-ins or check-outs on weekends and holidays without prior advance notice and approval.
On those days when we must make trips to Dana Farber, we will have a Berkshire Pet Pals employee, family/friend or volunteer providing care to our pets and all boarding pets that may be staying with us. These people are covered by our insurance and have been trained and certified in pet care, first-aid an CPR.
NOTE: There will be NO ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS performed on the days that we are away. This includes check-ins, check-outs, phone calls, e-mails, etc.
We may be available by text, but ask that you please give us time to respond, as we may be on the road or in treatment.
Please be sure to ask any questions and address any concerns PRIOR TO CHECK-IN. By scheduling services, you agree to all of our Policies and Procedures.
